Stuart Umpleby
Biographical Info: Stuart Umpleby is a professor in the Department of Management and Director of the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning in the School of Business at The George Washington University. He teaches courses in the cross-cultural management, organizational behavior, process improvement, systems thinking, and the philosophy of science. He received his PhD working with Heinz von Foerster at the University of Illinois. He is a past president of the American Society for Cybernetics. His website is www.gwu.edu/~umpleby.
