These often humorous embodied compositions allow paradox to arise, leaving the viewer to rename the undeniably live and familiar events.<\/p>\n<p>Our work has been described as \u201cSurreal Vaudeville\u2026One is reminded of silent film comedians and European circus clowns, who hone their material to its essence.\u201d  (The New Orleans Times-Picayune)<\/p>\n<p>A statement we think about comes from Herbert Marcuse; <em>\u201cThe critical function of art, its contribution to the struggle for liberation, resides in the aesthetic form.
