We can talk, make, think, all together.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"theme1\"><br \/>\n<b>Sub-theme 1 (24 hours)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>From Acting to Understanding<\/i><\/p>\n<p>We will explore<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>what it means to move from acting to understanding<\/li>\n<li>how we can do it<\/li>\n<li>how we can make it easier to do, and more effective<\/li>\n<li>the sort of knowledge that can result, and its value<\/li>\n<li>how we can show this move in how we talk about it<\/li>\n<li>where the learning is and how it operates<\/li>\n<li>and other topics you bring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will present our group findings in a plenary.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"theme2\"><br \/>\n<b>Sub-theme 2 (24 hours)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>From Understanding to Acting<\/i><\/p>\n<p>We will explore<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>what it means to move from understanding to acting<\/li>\n<li>how we can do it<\/li>\n<li>how we can make it easier to do, and more effective<\/li>\n<li>the sort of action that can result, and its value<\/li>\n<li>how we can show this move in how we talk about it<\/li>\n<li>where the learning is and how it operates<\/li>\n<li>and other topics you bring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Again, we will present our group findings in a plenary.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"uni\"><br \/>\n<b>Concluding Unification (4 hours)<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>Living with the circularity<\/i><\/p>\n<p>We will consider how the two sub-themes can be brought together, and what this means not only to the concepts of acting, learning and understanding, but also to the way we may look at the world both to accommodate both linear causality, and circularity.
