She is also a<br \/>\nlawyer and a<br \/>\npolitical scientist. She teaches at the Communication Departments of the<br \/>\nUniversity of Ottawa. She is currently a board member<br \/>\nof the Research Committee on Futures Research RC07 ISA, and was<br \/>\nvice-scientific director of the World Complexity Science Academy. Her<br \/>\nresearch deals with the modalities of inter-systemic communication in the<br \/>\ncurrent conditions of exponential complexity of society. She authored the<br \/>\nbook \u201cTrafic de drogues et Capitalisme\u201d (2006), and here more recent<br \/>\npublications are The politics of torture in antagonistic politics, and its displacement by the regime of the arts: Abu Ghraib, Colombian paramilitaries and Fernando Botero  Current Sociology, (2011). Explorations on the Notion of Legal Tolerance World Futures 68 (4-5):280 &#8211; 295 (2012).
