The conference fee (categories and early bird deadlines are shown in the table below) includes attendance at the conference, welcome barbecue, lunches, coffee and tea during the conference, access to University facilities and the conference booklet. Attendance at the pre- and post-conferences is complementary to those attending the conference as is the arts and entertainment program that the ASC normally provides. The beautiful local scenery comes free to everyone!

Refund Policy
The ASC policy is not to make refunds. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion. Any refunds will be reduced by the processing and other costs to the ASC incurred in making such a refund.
Refunds and Non-Acceptance of Paper Proposals
In the unlikely case that an extended abstract is rejected outright leading to an applicant’s non-attendance, where an early bird fee has been paid we will refund the fee paid in full.
Special Cases
We try, always, to be sympathetic to special conditions and circumstances. Should you wish to make an application to attend at a reduced rate (for instance), we will listen sympathetically. Please contact the ASC Secretary in the first instance.
* Those claiming student status should be active full time students in a university or similar, and are asked to bring proof of their status in the form of a valid student card to be charged the reduced student rate for attendance. We do not include as students those with lecturing and other jobs, who are also studying, except under very particular circumstances (ask us).
