ASC Cybernetics in the Present (4 and 5 August)

During these two days of the conference there will be paper presentations. We invite conference participants to submit abstracts for papers on current work (for later publication in the journal Kybernetes).

Proposed papers will be organized and presented according to Stuart Umpleby’s “several traditions of cybernetics”, each of which will provide thematic streaming. Authors are asked to place their paper under the appropriate tradition. Presentations will be in parallel, chaired sessions.

Papers will be accepted for presentation after refereeing of extended abstracts. Final papers will be developed after the conference, and should reflect what the author has learnt in the conference both through paper presentations and by any other means. For details of the process, see paper refereeing.
