Biographical Info: Victor MacGill is a PhD student researching acephalous groups using a systems approach through the University of the Sunshine Coast. His interest in systems began in 1995 after seeing a television programme on fractals. He has regularly attended conferences and presented papers in USA, Canada, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. Winner of the 2013 Sir Geoffrey Vickers Memorial Award. He has also authored When the Dragon Stirs (1995) and Gonna Lay Down my Sword and Shield (2012). He worked as a probation officer and rehabilitation programme facilitator for almost ten years and now lives back in his home town of Nelson, New Zealand facilitating programmes for domestic violence offenders.
