Participants who register for the ASC 2014 conference AND for the 2014 conference of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (27-Jul-2014 to 01-Aug-2014, also at The School of Business at George Washington University) receive a discount: In the ASC Members and Non-Members categories the total discount is USD100 (a USD50 reduction off each registration). In the Students category the total discount is USD70 (a USD35 reduction off each registration). Please request your discount code here before proceeding to the conference registration website.
1) Non-members registration fees include a year’s membership of the ASC.
2) Those claiming student status should be active full time students in a university or similar, and are asked to bring proof of their status in the form of a valid student card to be charged the reduced student rate for attendance. We do not include as students those with lecturing and other jobs, who are also studying, except under very particular circumstances (ask us).
3) Those earning $30,000 per year or less.
The ASC policy is not to make refunds. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion. Any refunds will be reduced by the processing and other costs to the ASC incurred in making such a refund.
Refunds and Non-Acceptance of Paper Proposals
In the unlikely case that an extended abstract is rejected outright leading to an applicant’s non-attendance, where an early bird fee has been paid we will refund the fee paid in full.
We try, always, to be sympathetic to special conditions and circumstances. Should you wish to make an application to attend at a reduced rate (for instance), we will listen sympathetically. Please contact the ASC Secretary in the first instance.
