Biographical Info: I joined the Institute for Educational Cybernetics, University of Bolton in 2008, after gaining my PhD in ICT in Education and then working as a research fellow in the School of Education at Queen’s University of Belfast. As a Senior Researcher and Learning Technology Advisor, I have been involved in supporting the UK OER programme and have worked on both the JISC observatory project and the EU funded TEL-Map project. My main areas of interest include investigating and understanding emerging technology and innovative practice in education, and their impact on the future of higher education.
