Ray Ison’s Expression of Interest

We have a new research project, CADWAGO – see http://www.cadwago.net/ in which we are concerned with effecting the conditions for more systemic governance of water catchments understood as a structurally coupled social-biophysical systems. The praxis of systemic governance is a major concern, espcially how different policy imperatives such as flooding, water quality and quantity, climate change adpatation, food security, biodiversity etc can be joined-up in place-based adaptive ways. To this we add a concern for how governance learning can be understood and enacted.
