Biographical Info: I am a first year PhD student in the Psychology Department of the University of Bolton. I have completed my MSc in Psychology and BA in Psychology from India. I have completed my MSc and BA with high success and obtaining the University third rank with a Distinction and my five year course of studies was funded by an Austrian Association for the Education & Development in Sri Lanka. After completing my MSc I left to my native country of Sri Lanka and worked there for about two years serving the higher education as a junior lecturer. I came to UK to pursue my PhD in the University of Bolton. I am studying for my PhD research under the supervision of Prof. Jerome Carson and my research focus is on the Dyslexia and other Learning disabilities. My career interests are always in the area of academics and serving Sri Lankan education system as a qualified and effective academician.
